Account & Data Deletion Request

At Evatoz Solutions Private Limited, we respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request deletion of your Eva2z account and the data associated with it across our Mobility Intelligence Platform — including the Eva2z mobile app, GPS tracking services, fleet management dashboard, and our electric vehicle products (VEGUS, KITE, APOLLO).

1. What Gets Deleted
When you submit a deletion request, we will permanently remove the following data linked to your account:

Your name, email address, phone number, and profile information
Login credentials and authentication tokens
Vehicle registration details linked to your account
GPS location history and trip records
Geofencing and alert preferences
Driver behavior and fleet analytics data
Saved places, contacts, and emergency contact details
Device identifiers and app usage data
In-app messages and support conversation history
2. What May Be Retained (and Why)
Certain data may be retained for a limited period to comply with legal, financial, security, or contractual obligations. This includes:

Transaction & billing records — retained for up to 8 years as required under Indian tax and accounting laws.
Warranty & vehicle registration data — retained for the lifetime of the vehicle for service, recall, and ownership transfer purposes.
Fraud, abuse, or legal investigation records — retained as required by law enforcement or court orders.
Anonymized analytics — data that cannot identify you may be retained for product improvement.
All retained data is stored securely and is not used for marketing or any purpose unrelated to its legal basis.

3. How to Request Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and personal data directly from within the Eva2z mobile app:

Open the Eva2z app and sign in to your account.
Go to Profile → Settings → Privacy.
Tap Delete My Account.
Review the on-screen information and confirm your request.
You will receive a confirmation notification once your request has been registered.
4. Verification & Processing Timeline
We will verify your identity within 2 business days of receiving your request.
Account deactivation begins within 7 business days of verification.
Full data deletion (including from backups) is completed within 30 days, unless retention is legally required as described in Section 2.
You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
5. Important Notes Before You Delete
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. You will lose access to all trip history, reports, and saved data.
If you are a fleet administrator, deleting your account may affect users and vehicles managed under your account. Please transfer ownership before deletion.
Active subscriptions will be cancelled, but refunds are subject to our Refund Policy.
Hardware devices (GPS trackers, EVs) will continue to function but will no longer be linked to your account.
